It was my first city bus driver job as I got class A and had most my experience in truck driving, I really had no trouble getting into this role, customer service and dealing with customers properly and always did the training which was weekly on different things, if moved back to the area (reason I left) I would def apply again for working here. I had no problems if I had request time off as long as I gave plenty of notice and if I needed hours they helped with that and the management was good. But the excitement and vibe of this unique environment is captivating. Casinos never sleep, and you’ll be expected to work long or unusual hours. So I was not in the Casino directly except when we were picking up or dropping off passengers, but I really enjoyed my time there! Had reg training and learned all the routes and most the time (especially evening shifts you were on your own! You really need to know customer service and working with people with disabilities and had to really know what is expected of you, Take an active role in ensuring that gaming rules are followed by joining our security and surveillance teams. So I worked for The Casino but my position as a bus driver had me also follow the regulations and rules of Kootenai County also as we drove the city buses in Coeur D’Alene, ID.
